We do more before 8:am than...

I hate mornings. Not quite with the visceral hate that some people have. However, I'd rather not get up early. Early on, I leared to appreciate staying up late and burning the midnight oil. It's what I prefer.

However, I really hate feeling like I've wasted the day away. To be honest, the last few months, I feel like I've been doing that.

Considering that errands and job hunting needs to be done during the day, this is not a good situation.

For the past week, I've been trying to get up with Markie. Since we've been letting the girl sleep outside of her crate, I've had a bit more incentive to get up when Markie and she does. That is, "get up or have a hyper and potentially accident causing quadraped on the loose sans supervision." Not something to be messed with.

SO ...

So today I got out of bed and into some (claw protective) clothing. I started a little tea, and had a little breakfast bread.

Since then I've

  1. done some emailing
  2. entered a 1/3 of our neighborhood directory into Markie's Palm Desktop
  3. done some weeding in both flower beds
  4. laid down more anti snail and slugs around the Basil they've been feasting on
  5. played chase with Blanch to get her tired out
  6. read sluggy.com for the day

and it's only just 11.

I think that I hate getting up in the morning, but like what it does for my productivity.
