We do more before 8:am than...
I hate mornings. Not quite with the visceral hate that some people have. However, I'd rather not get up early. Early on, I leared to appreciate staying up late and burning the midnight oil. It's what I prefer.
However, I really hate feeling like I've wasted the day away. To be honest, the last few months, I feel like I've been doing that.
Considering that errands and job hunting needs to be done during the day, this is not a good situation.
For the past week, I've been trying to get up with Markie. Since we've been letting the girl sleep outside of her crate, I've had a bit more incentive to get up when Markie and she does. That is, "get up or have a hyper and potentially accident causing quadraped on the loose sans supervision." Not something to be messed with.
SO ...
So today I got out of bed and into some (claw protective) clothing. I started a little tea, and had a little breakfast bread.
Since then I've
- done some emailing
- entered a 1/3 of our neighborhood directory into Markie's Palm Desktop
- done some weeding in both flower beds
- laid down more anti snail and slugs around the Basil they've been feasting on
- played chase with Blanch to get her tired out
- read sluggy.com for the day
and it's only just 11.
I think that I hate getting up in the morning, but like what it does for my productivity.
