oh ... the other things ...

found out some news about a friend. i don't know him that well, but that doesn't make me feel any less for him... i'm not ready to even talk about it, but it still hits the heart.

Train wrecks ... and other things

From the weekend of the 4th of July ... I mean to talk about how things went. Several people came into town. I had forgotten Mark was on call so he couldn't really stray far from home. 2 of the Nephews came over, there was BBQ, there was visiting ...

And I ended up not even calling everyone who was in town.

I know, I know, "I forgot" ... "time got away from me" ... excuses excuses ... But I'm still trying to get better at managing social engagements. And as I get better at managing "our" calendar, things will get better. Till then, I fear that I'm gonna be a hurting people's feelings.

Well, I've been sucked into the latest trend. I've added myself as a friendster.

Part of my motiviation is to get a few people on who need to find boyfriend / girlfriend action. I hear it's really good for that.

The other part? I wanna be part of the latest trend!

Things are going along much better

I don't know if I've mentioned this, but ...

Q3 has picked up nicely. The response of Recruiters seems very hopful. I've found a few more networking groups here in Dallas. I think that the job front is picking up :)
