Ok, emails have been sent a plenty. People have been begged and threatened with black strappy shoes.

The 10 year aniversary for Jersey Village class of '93 is this weekend ... ie, tonight and tomorrow night. See you peeps there!

My parents are living off the map

Ugggh! My parents have recently moved to Katy. I finally got their postal address from my sister.

However, mapquest, mapblast, and yahoo maps all can't find the address. It must be too new for them.

My parents have moved off the Map!

Everyone make sure to cut Kavita some slack

Ok, Kavita's in the process of getting her house ready to be show to be sold, etc.

She's a bit behind, she's been working like a dog. She hasn't bought her reunion tickets yet.

Everyone make sure to cut her some slack!

In Medias res

My good friend Erik just wrote a Friendster Testimonial for me. I'm afraid that I'll have to add you as a friend for you to see it ... so just email me at expeditrixvinnie A.T. y a h o o D-O_T com, and I'll add you. Anyways, it goes something like this:

I've been hanging out with Vinnie for 11 years now. Vinnie ain't family, but he treats me like family. And I see him as family. There is no higher compliment that that in my book. He's bright, fun, adventurous, eternally optimistic and has just enough bitch queen in his personality. But don't try to follow the conversation too closely. Vince tends to start every sentence in medius res. Don't be thrown. It can be quite entertaining.

I hadn't really thought of it, but I'm goning to admit that Erik's right. I do start sentences, thoughts, whole conversations in medias res a lot. When I'm on the ball, I've got a lot of thoughts going on, a lot of projects I'm working on. When I'm really on the ball, then I remember that and backup the story enough to relate all the needed information to the person that I'm talking to. Like right now, I should have mentioned what friendster is by now. I should have mentioned how good and important a friend Erik has been to me through out the years. But, as with everything else, I guess I forgot to back up and start at the beginning again :) Kudos Erik, you know me so well :)
