Wait, did I patch that already?

NPR news just reported that there are 3 additional holes that Microsoft just announced and patched. I just did a critical update on the home computers. Does that mean that I'm behind? Do I need to patch again? There have been so many patches recently that I don't know if I'll ever keep up.

They're under $50

So my cousin was asking about networking computers together. I sent him a link to some hardware, a cable/DSL Modem router hub combo. Off of the practicallynetworked.com site, I found my router. I bought it new for $120 or so. They're going for under $50 now! I know computer hardware drops fast, but man!

Of course, this still begs the question: Why are cables still so expensive? Shouldn't they be pennies a yard now instead of $8?

I just realized it's 1 PM. Haven't done lunch yet. No wonder I'm starting to get a bit moody ... or maybe that's my general discontent with the US Policy in Iraq. No ... I'm pretty sure it's hunger.

I'm taking defensive driving online

I'm taking defensive driving to lower my insurance. The increase of 2 months of my insurance will pay for it.

She didn't seem interested in a walk today

I let Blanche out to do her business. Then I came back, put her food out, and she didn't go for it. She didn't give any of the usual signs that she wanted a walk. She usually wants a morning walk though. Was I just not hearing her say it?
